Haven't won the lottery but if I did I'd get a new Vanquish, until then I'll have to live with my 4mo, A3 3.2 quattro, Yamaha R6 ...... and DB9

I'm lucky enough to own mine, an Aston Martin DB9 Coupe. Going camping in it this summer to Carfest North.

I'm using my 4mo for my daily commute (75 miles each way) at the moment. Mostly motorway and dual carriage way, with the odd roundabout. Have found myself "driving" her enthusiastically a few times near those roundabouts, but then I look at the fuel gauge and calm it down a bit again.

I know it's not strictly a VR6, but my latest addition to the fleet does have a VAG V6 engine (A3 Sportback 3.2 Quattro DSG S-Line), so wanted to add it to the owners registry. Any chance of getting A3 added to the model list?

as i said in a previous post, I'm looking at trading my 4Mo in for something newer. up to now I'd been looking at either an R32 or possibly an A3 3.2 quattro, but a search lastnight threw another option into the pot - a Passast R36. An R36 certainly looks like it would tick all the boxes for performance and the toys that I'm looking for, but has anyone here actually driven one? I don't think I've even seen one, and to be honest the rarity also adds to the appeal.

I'm looking at replacing the centres of my black leather seats, plus middles of the door cards, with red alcantara on my DB9. The coal hole/suicide black look really needs a lift.

Thinking of trading my 4mo in for an R32, probably a 07/08 5dr with DSG gearbox. Anything I should look out for in particular? I know most are metallic blue but the current Mrs gpb1 had final say on colour and she wants grey or silver.

Just moved from O2 to T-Mobile when I got the iPhone 5, so mine has said EE from the start BUT as I understand it when the EE 4G network launches to the public properly I will have to shift over to an EE contract (prices as yet undisclosed). Have to say though I am liking the unlimited voice, text and (more importantly) data tariff that I'm on now. Not worried about streaming video on the move now.
