did they make a l reg vr6 with a dizzy? maybe an early registard one?

hi i have a 99 seat ibiza 1.4 8v and i have just bought a l reg golf vr6(dizzy) smashed up for the conversion, i have stripped the golf of everything i need but i am just a little conserned over the wiring side of things? so far i have separated the engine bay loom into 2 the aux water pump and lighting side and the engine wiring from the ecu? i was hoping to keep the lighting loom from the ibiza and wire the rest of the vr6 stuff in? is this possible or is it too much messin about? also can i keep the ibiza fuse box or do i have to swap it for the vr6 one,any other advice on making this a bit
