    this may be a stupid question but, do all vr6 odb2 engine have seperate/different engine block numbers or will another odb2 engine have the same? cos i just typed mine into google and it brought up some bloke talking about his engine on a forum from canada with the same block number?

    wondering if someone can help me... Ive got gti clocks on my new golf which was origanally a 2.0l 8v but now has a odb2 vr6 in. Firstly the revs will go striaght of the clock [7000 on gti] and then actual revs appear to go on to about 8500? it doesnt seem to have an actual limiter...do you think has the limiter been removed? are the needles on the vr6 clocks at a different tension, what should i limit my revs too??[best for engine life] any thoughts would be great

    hello people, wondered what ur suggestions are on making my new motor's exhaust quiter[its soooo loud]? dont really wont to change the back box as it was put on just before i brought it and i like the look and would like the sound of it, if it were quiter.[ it pops n splutters a treat] Do people think a different mid section or a silencer or maybe welding a coller in before and after the back box or somethin to reduce the flow abit [will this mess stuff up powerwise] would work?? any suggestions would be appreciated. cheers
