    on a slightly different note... are your rims 16s? if so what width are they n what size tyres you got on em, and what u lowered by. Do you have any probs rubbin etc? Your ride looks proper sweet mate.

    Just brought a secondhand passenger side headlight, as my vr came with a gti lamp on that side. So i got it a few days ago and thought, as im going to put it on i might aswell take the other vr lamp off and paint the insides [non-reflective parts] black, as i quite like the look. Anyway, ill get to the point, just finshed, opening, painting and resealing....let them both dry and they looked great! Put them on, no problems, piece of cake, then i went to connect the loom to the back of the new lamp and guess what,... what a supprise, its a diffent f&&king plug!!!! ARRRRG. So i guess eit

    does your abs light come on when you start the car? cos if it doesnt then it means that the previous owner probably removed it to hide an abs problem.

    depends how much you could get for it.... but although im a big vr fan, i would love a nice silver mk4 gti, remap to 220bhp, ik, drop it, bbs rs's etc etc.

    really sorry to hear that, but as above ^ i would never let anybody i didnt know off in my car on there own. But i suppose these comments dont really help.

    it can make it pop and splutter alot, which is quite cool, but its the volume for me thats the decider. Its just too loud with out the middle box.

    i mate, yeah as far as i know it is yeah, but trust me it will make it alot louder and boomy and it will resonate alot when crusing at anything over 2.5 thousand revs... im looking the put the suitcase box back on mine as i brought the car with a full custom exhuast on [no suitcase] and its anoyingly loud. hope that helps

    i swear the gti was the same as that... maybe it was bout 89 for 6 and 160 for 12, cant remember. thanks anyway mate, thought it might be more

    this is a bit random but but my vr6 before my current one was a gti conversion so i only payied gti tax and my new one was already taxed but it expires at the end of this month..... how much is it?? cheers

    before this vr i had a mk3 gti with a vr6 engine, with a really loud exhuast and putting the suitcase box on made all the difference, so yeah i need to get under it and have a good look. thanks for the help

    oh right, didnt know that. forgot to say mines got a full custom edwards motorsport system, but it resonates and boom too much, so im trying to find some thing that will fit where the old 'suitcase' middle box was.
