right dont think ill be doin that then. lol -
ive got coilovers n ive had my arches done proper, have a look. n ive got 215 40s on at the mo but i want a bit more rim protection n a slightly softer ride.

bout to get me some of these; Nokian NRVi 225/50 R16 96V XL n i know what your thinkin, never heard of them or there cheap rubbish but on all there reviews they score better than most if not all the 'big name' tyres above 100 quid a piece and theyre only 32 quid.... mate you have my sympathy.... insurance is a con if i was abit more dodgy i just would even bother with it! had 2 mates get nothin from fully comp n another that took months of sh*t n still didnt get what he should of!!! -

it will gain abit of bhp, and possibly sound... i had a straight thro on mine and it was way too loud, i had to put a middle box on.

Right, basically i wanna just soften up the ride of my vr abit as its like riding with no suspension... ive got my coilovers as soft as they'll go, so im lookin at the tyre front. I have 9 inch deep dish rims, Do you think gettin tyres will a larger profile ie 50's instead of 40's will make any ods and are there any draw backs? the reason im lookin at profile over width is that i can go up in my arches abit more, just not out much more... and do you think it will matter havin 215/40/16s on the bak and then whatever on the front ie will different tyres cause probs? any thoughts would be great

Stretched tyres on deep dish rims??? ive got 215/40/16s on 9inch dish rims [can be seen in 'my motor' link below] and i was wonderin are there any things in need to watch out for? and should i have different tyre pressures in em? any thoughts will be appreciated. nice one.

ive been lookin at these.... n i think it is a case of buy n see... i have read feedabck from other supposed;d vr6 owners saying its all good..... just got to see for your self i guess. -
yeah sorry, i wasnt very clear i have a 2.0l 8v shell with a vr6 lump in it... i have alot of history on the old engine but very lttle on the vr6.

well i geuss it could be got round with different air feeds... but i quite like cruisin with the windows down.
