Humm could have been but it didnt have the twin pipes or the body kit that the r23 should have, i think it was a modified mk4 4motion. True mine isnt exactly a std mk3 i forgot to sat that at the start of the thread.

Yeah i get all my work done there as it just down the road, the guys are great and both my passat turbo and the vr6 have and will continue to go to them. Yeah the mk2 r32 SC is mad, i have heard about the twin SC project. thats going to make that one hell of a mad project.

Yeah the cost is outta my range and true it just wouldnt be a syncro if it was rhd. ahh well, killed that thought off before it got any serious thoughs, probablly a good thing.

Im sure this has been covered before, but here goes again. Is it possible to convert my fwd vr6 into a 4wd. I know you are going to say lots of work, but what is acrually involved? I would love the 4wd but i dont want to have to buy a syncro and drive a LHD daily. I take it i would need a 4wd rear axel, prop shaft and then the transfer box to get the power going to the rear end. and then a whole lot of bits to make it all work.

Mine runs around with the fans on 2 all the time but i dont use the aircon unless its really hot or i am doing motorway speeds, opening the sunroof cools the car down nicly tho. But yeah sitting in traffic or driving slowly even on cold the fans blow warm air.

I may be up for this, depends on how stuff goes this week. Would be nice to know how my new car runs. The 1.8t i has was running 148.9 stock and i am looking for 200+ on the vr6.

Nice, i ment to work my mpg out on the last tank but forgot to note the mileage when i left the garage. Who did you get your new box from and was that 550 fitted or just parts? Mine is a little stiff getting into 3rd and 5th some times. Gonna run it till i can afford to put a new one in. Would be tempted to get a LSD fitted while the box it out tho :s and that means BIG money.

Another new owner, i agreed to buy my 1st VR on sunday, Should be picking her up next weekend. have some fair size plans allready. Hopfully the 1st bits will be done by the weekend after so i can take it to pod on the 8th. -
I will add this to the list of shows to try and attend, fairly new to the scene so i wanna get out and see whats happening. Hopfully picking up my VR next weekend Then it time to get the elbow grease out....
