    rite not updated for a while, have managed to change the oil and filter for some high temp miller oil, replaced the n/s steering rack bellow, do the tracking .... fitted my new drive shafts and found they were to long so had to remove them not happy .... have emailed the company i got them from and said they will fit but trust me they wont as one is 20mm long and one it 10mm to long dont sound much but they lock up and wont allow the steering to turn we have now come to a sloution they are sending me some custom made ones and ill i got do is pay for shipping and send the old new ones back the

    the stage two for a vortech v9 is about £500 iirc .... is a smaller pullie, red top injectors, idler pullie, billet recirc valve and then plus a remap ...

    240 aint bad just get a stage two up grade and a remapp and you shoudl see 280-300 mate

    wots ur budget mate as there is mr potter on here how turboed the vr for around 1k - 1.5k and got very good reults out of it ... have a look for his thread mate.... or if u want a bolt on and go keep ur eyes out for a vortech or a rotrex charger system they do pop up eveynow and then ....

    now see we had issues with the classes ur were in mk2 carig was in vw 4wd and me and jake got put in X highly modded ..... nto right im my eyes but hay ho there u go .... always next year lol

    i couldnt get out the 14s got a 14.06 .... so just needed up using my nos and spinning in 1st, 2nd and 3rd most the way up the 1/4 lol was so much fun lol .... and beat craig once ... and a few other big money cars lol

    great weekend once again great weather great mates some racing and beer .... just got a rattle from the gearbox / clutch area .... but man the NOS was fun lol

    fix the leask (which by the sounds u have done) then check the water pump, take the pressure cap off and check to see if water is coming out the small pipe on top of the expansion bottle if it does, check the thermostat remove it and put it in a cup of boiling water and see if it opens or not if not replace it if its ok get it tested for possible head gasket fault ....
