no they did turn but pretty sure they didnt wind in!? how fine is the thread? how many turns till there fully in? cheers

why are they screw in pistons? tryed winding an they didnt seem to move it!? mk3 vr btw

gonna service the brakes new pads an discs all round any recommendations? also whats the best way to get the pistons back in the calipers without damaging them? cheers

whats the difference etween 24v pistons and 12v ones?

20-22 when giving it some and around 30 when taking it easy!?

i cant really afford to have the car off the road as its always needed but i want to look into turbos. if i was to buy a seperate engine an rebuild that (with turbo) what parts whilst rebuildin would you uprate from standard? makes obvious sense while its in pieces? cheers

hi again! Right as for leads i got a set of beru from gsf also gonna do a oil an filter change also change the two oil pressure senders on the front end of the oil filter housin because ones leaking from the top (this common?). Threw in a fuel filter two for good measure, any pointers as im rather new to this engine?? cheers

can i open and reseal the fogs to clean the lenses as they are i little misty?

im havin the same problem with my drivers side window it just doesnt want to work had to resort to unpluging the motor! the thing is it wont stay shut ive tryed to adjust the glass posision everything lubed the rubbers and runners on the mech but still no joy! its so embarrassing ordering at the drive thru thru the rear windows!! please help me somebody cheers

mine only one touches down not up thats on all 4 windows

also there right hand side oil pressure sensor is leakin oil from the top its the one with the black wire goin into it. how much are these and where do i get one? thanks

i just had my first vw its a nice and clean 93 golf vr6 its covered 85k and i want to service it. i noticed last night that a couple of ther spark plug leads are arcing on jubliee clips so there gonna have to be changed which ones tho? the engine is standard. also a oil and filter change need approx 6 liters or oil? which is best suited to my vr? any other things i should be checking?? thanks
