    It's a tricky one' date=' that. There's a blind crest at the braking point and on the day you stuffed it, it was wet before the crest and a layer of crud after it. I [b']very nearly understeered off into the armco there too. You'd have stuffed it into me if I was unlucky. Fortunately, the ABS scrubbed off enough speed to get enough bite to turn in.     The track was closed in the morning, so I didn't get it. When I got there in the afternoon, someone had already rented it. The car I fancied most out of what was left was a Golf GTI with a DSG 'box. It was bloody brilliant! Cheers, Andy

    I'll have my laptop with me and an inverter to power it in the car. I've not tested the inverter with the lappy yet, but I'm sure it'll be OK. Besides, I have a hotel room with a power socket and a 4 hour battery life... Cheers, Andy

    There's more particulates in diesel. It's supposed to be bad for you compared to petrol emissions. I'll probably stay out for several laps at a time if I can, so one passenger lap means you'll be in for a while or hopping out on the track! Cheers, Andy

    I'm diesel powered so I can get there on a single tank (provided we stick to two figure speeds). It's also cheaper for diesel than unleaded. :-p Cheers, Andy
