    CG Lock every time. My M535i had full harnesses. Brilliant on the track as you're held in really well and the belts are really secure. The most safe solution without a doubt. However, it's a bitch for every passenger as they have to sit there adjusting the belts. Invariaby, they give up and just live with being uncomfortable. Then there's practicality. If you get in the car whilst chatting to someone and start to belt up, you'll be frustrated when they walk off and you have to get out of your harness to reach for the door.     I remember a passenger lap in a Purple VR6 on air ride last year that resulted in severe brake fade by the time we got to Adenau Forst. Paul was not happy with the "race" setup he'd bought and drove the rest of the lap like only a chauffeur could! Cheers, Andy

    I got flexi tickets too' date=' but I'll just go to the 'Ring or Leiden (near the 'Dam) if it snows. This year, I'm hoping to go to the 'Ring 3 times. Once at Easter to drive with you rowdy lot, once for the 24 Hour race you're all familiar with, and once for Rad am Ring in August. Anyone fancy a team in that? Turn up early for a few TF laps during the week, keep fit over the weekend and gyrating naked ladies in Adenau in the evenings. Perhaps not a cheap trip, eh? Cheers, Andy

    I will need to get an ipod before I bother with an itrip The point of the iTrip in this thread isn't so you can listen to your music, it's so we can hear when you're coming before you get to the corner we're taking photos at. When cars come past nose to tail you can often miss the people you're looking for. The other solution is to find out where we're stood and radio in with a PMR446 radio when you're close. Of course, you'll need to know the tarck to do that and you'll also need a PMR radio. Cheers, Andy

    That's a good point. Everyone can have their own signature tune! Right, all you need is your iTrip (or other similarly functioning device) set to the VR6OC frequency, which we'll decide on when we get there. That way, if your iPod is playing, we'll get some advance warning to get some photos in. I lost count of the number of people I just missed getting a photo of this year! Cheers, Andy

    FFS! I was booking at the £66 price last night. My popup blocker meant the card didn't go through, and their shitty site wouldn't let me go back. I had to restart my browser, and it cost me over £100 when I went back. Bastards! Cheers, Andy (now booked)

    lol not strictly true!! Handbrake turns and lift of oversteer don't count as drifting! You can get it sideways like that though. You'll be more sideways than me, I suspect. I won't rag my 330d round, and the traction control keeps the rear end in check quite well (yes, I've tried). If I rent one of the RWD DRTs, I may be slightly sideways, but that's never recommended in a car you're not familiar with! Cheers, Andy
