    77777....

sunday boredom is creeping in so i thought i'd post a pic of the milage i hit this week!
  11. Hi peeps, im going to replace my rockercover gasket while my inlet manifold is off. rocker cover gasket - 021 103 483D - £8.47 + vat That's what i've found listed on the forum but is that for an early or a late engine? and will the early gasket fit a 1997 engine? And will the quality be any different if i buy one from GS&F? cheers
  12. very low milage for the year and a recent paint job are all in the cars favour. I think you'd be better off selling the wheels seperately to me and then putting the car up for £2600.
  13. i've just finished my front bumper today Mike, I smoothed the lines but kept the fogs and plate recess. I'm having it painted next week so i'll post up some pics for you to see what it looks like.

    hi

Dave's got a point there. but like he said, there will be some people who love the Passat. It's certainly a real wolf in sheeps clothing!! I guess it all depends what you wanna do with the car? im sure it'll make a more useful daily than a golf due to the extra room onboard.
  20. well the trouble is, where my tyre is so stretched, it gives the rim absolutely no protection and two chunks have been taken out of it! i took the pics of the road and wheel with my mums camera as my battery was dead, i'll get the pics up as soon as i can!
  21. right! Time for a little update!! I'm pretty happy with the result so far, could do with another good going over, think i'll get the dremel out to fine polish it but here's some pics! Now all i gotta do is get the thing fitted!!
