Here's a list of the cars i've owned in the last 6 years.. 1st-Mini Metro (passed my test in this and then it lasted 3 weeks before i wrote it off!! 2nd-Mk3 Golf 1.8 Driver Dusty Mauve 3rd-Mk2 Jetta Gti 16v Black 4th-Mk3 Gti 16v Dusty Mauve 5th-Polo G40 Black 6th-Mk2 Golf 2.0 16v Grey 7th-Polo G40 Black 8th-Seat Ibiza Tdi Silver 9th-Mk3 Cabriolet 10th-Polo G40 Black (G40_UK) 11th-Mk3 Cabriolet Avantgarde 12th-Seat Ibiza Cupra 13th-Seat Ibiza Gti And now i'm on the VR6!! Phew!

    and yes only 500 were shipped over here in right hand drive format. Registered between 1990 and 1994 although there were two 1998 's' plates and a 1999 't' plate registered late. The G40 owners club contacted the DVLA last year and found that just over 250 were left registered on our roads..these little beasts are become scarce!!

    Joel if you want to know anything about G40's i'm your man. currently on my 3rd black one. Love them to bits, mine was one of the fastest(if not the fastest) in Britain a few years back, just shy of 200bhp and still running a G40 charger. To say they are fun is an understatement mate!     Good old Doug! They're a lovely set of wheels mate, gonna get them refurbed early next year, might have the inners colourcoded!? Time will tell.. What i've gotta keep telling myself is this VR is my daily and not my show car, I'm meant to be finishing my Polo not this Golf lol!! Modding is an addiction i'm sure!!

    You don't like the Silver Roses? They are so rare! I didn't buy them because they were the in thing, i've always loved old school Porsche wheels, I used to run a set of Design 90's on my Ibiza.. Maybe i'm showing my age lol!!

    cheers for the nice comments guys! I love the plate too Richie! I wanted the one that Greg Howell has got (G8EGS) but he got there first! I'm chuffed with this one though! Gaz, I think the tyres are 215/40/16 on the rear and 194/40 on the front. Steve, it can go lower mate but I'm having trouble with the speed bumps entering work! hehe! As it is I don't think I can fit my deeper front splitter becauase it won't last!!

    Hey, Had a busy week, fitted the coilovers, wheels, put my new number plates on. Big shout out to the guys at Style Dynamix, went there this morning and had my arches rolled as It was rubbing really bad at the back and i was losing my sidewalls! Ooops!! Just gotta fit my Remus twin square exhaust system now and source some new headlights/ indicators and fogs... Let me know what you think.. thank you please! Greg

    So am I right in thinking you can just buy the TT 312mm brake discs and they fit under standard VR6 calipers? I have the later 288mm discs at the mo and wouldn't mind some better brakes!

    Hey Mr Monster, is that 5 door beaut yours? I've got a set of twin headlights but not fitted them yet.. i like it a lot! And Porsche wheels ALWAYS look good
