hello all on sunday i spent the day fault finding and after spending most of the day under the bonnet the problem has revelled its self, plugs 1 & 6 were a bit burnt so i swopped them and problem solved. so some times it can be the simple things Thanks all for your help and suggestions,

hello all i have now had the car put on to a diagmostic computer and there are no folt coads to sugest a problem with missfiring ? :-( and the misfiring is now happening more and more often. if any one has any ideas it would be grate,

Thanks for the advice but without sounding thick what is afm and am best off going to my local VW garage for a diagnostics

Hello all my VR seams to be missing but only when I try to keep to a constant speed like 30mph when I accelerate is seams fine and only misses every so often but to add more confusion it dose not all ways do it some times it is fine. I have changed the plugs and ht's so dose any one have any ideas as it is starting to drive me mad %-6 Any help would be grate

Hello all I have got round to taking more pics of the rado !lol but the car will be coming off the road soon to take care of some rusty bits dents and scratches, with some luck it will be back on the road for all types show in may !amazed but for now here it is

after my vr the Mrs has MK3 golf cab my dad has a bora my Mrs mum has a T25 camper my Mrs 1st brother has a T25 camper & a caddy (16v gti) his wife has a Mk3 golf & my Mrs 2nd brother Has a T25 camper & a mk 1 jeta Gti !amazed !grr %-6

My VR is missing and I have read that the Cam position sensor and throttle position sensors are culprits of poor running. But where are they and how do I check them ? I have all ready changed the plugs and the HT leads so any help would be grate.
