    I thought it was 172 for early ODB1 cars and 185 for later OBD2 cars.

  6. I am not sure about the rears as I had them done with the new brakes. The fronts I am paying £26 each. My car is in at this very monent getting them replaced. I am paying £78 a side in total to have a new front bearing fitted, then another £25 for tracking/camber adjustment. Deathbob
  7. Blue is cool, at least in isnt another purple one, and people say green ones are unlucky.....and of coarse red ones go faster, as the million stone chips should prove.
  8. I know there are loads of threads about timing chains but I ain't found out what I want to know. Is there a easy to buy complete kit with all the parts? Or do you need to get them all as seperate parts from VW? Also what kinda cost for the parts - I need the usual bits, chains,guides and tensioners. I have seen USA ebay offer complete kits for $130 ish but no UK suppliers. Thanks folks Deathbob
