  4. not to be funny im sure they are just metal plates that slot at the end of the cam right....blimey what append to the old ways where you'd use a bit of creative blue peter thing and fashion a plate

    Fuckers

you may get away with it... i had a similar issue (i swear cov n warick drivers are half asleep) use a hair dryer to heat up the metal till its hot to touch then use the back of a screwdriver with a fat handle and a towel wrapped around it....mine was worse then yours n it came out a treat i just had to replace the door trim...i used a sound deadnind pad on the back of it just in case the metal/ crease would pop back when slamin the door...
  6. lol lol lol....nah i dnt cane it when cold i have a morning ritual i always let the car run for 10 mins till its up to temp before even moving it...it just seems when i need it to perform it bogs dwn and judders for a bit then flies then stuters, pop etc till i change gear and its happens all over again mostly in at the top end of mid ramge....its pissin me off and most of the time embarsin when a lesser car keeps up
  7. u must be steamin....two n a half weeks for a head gasket wot they doing maing the head gasket
  8. this pop pop is happning at acceleration im not sure wot it is, is it the cat thats doing it, the plugs getting to hot, or could it be fueling? i wana get rid of the cat as on my rallye i dnt require one....will this have an impact on the lambda?

  16. try fat wheels they advertise in the golf mag.....sure they will be able to sort sumin out for a decent ammount of wedge
  17. its the way lowering works its sittin level....just follow the swage line n ull c that th efront arches are always higher then the rear ones...lowring to match the rear youll have to also consider the camber you run so that when ur turnin under load you dnt get scrubage
  18. trust me just be methodical about it and it will be fine the only pais to watch out for: 1 have a spare jack to help with the whishbone when you try and pop in the ball joint....this always pardon the pun turn out to be a ball ache lol ull be fine wd all relvant nuts n bolts prior to the job
  19. im sure there is a explanation to this guys...robert sounded like a sound guy to me.....
  20. it is a strainght forward job. 1st undo the main drive shaft bolt leave the car on the grounf for this, these nuts can be a pain decent leverage will shift it, then jack up car remove wheel.....you will need to undo the ball joint of the whish bone so that the driveshaft can pop out. cv's are a push fit so just tap it of witha mallet...next slip on the new cv boot first followed by you new cv..regrease pop boot over and secure it. and the refir of drive shaft is just the opposite of taking it off. use a new bolt for the drive shaft...should be in the cv kit. and your done
