    is it all the lights that are controlled by the dimmer? if so the dimmer pot could be dirty or need replacing.

    Where can i get replacement centre caps for my bbs RXII's? i either want plain ones or vw ones. they are the plain plastic push in type caps. i have tried the usuall suspects eg google / ebay no luck Thanks in advance Chris

    just got a quote for bead blasting the outers of £15 per wheel.. or £30 per wheel powder coated... should i polish or just be lazy and go for the powder coating?

    Did it run ok b4 messing with the chip? Check the solder joints make sure there are no bridged tracks solder bits on the board. swap out ecu for another known good one. Chris

So all in they cost me £135 for the 4 .... not bad as they are £290 EACH from BBS )) the centre's are A1 but the rims are i need of some attention. As i want to keep costs down to a minimum, i intend on refurbishing them myself. What i was thinking was this... Remove the center peices of the alloys. Needs a large star drive it think.. Half

    Ok, I'm new to the VW scene, having just bought a nice twilight violet VR6. I picked up a copy of PVW in the newsagents and started looking at the project cars.. deciding as nice as mine was in standard trim i'd could look better..... well whilst browsing ebay looking for all things golf, and looking at all the general tat i came accross these... now i dont know a lot about vw styling but what i do like is standard look and clean lines.. so i thought id buy em.... after i checked the would fit on my car...... Was i right to keep this ebay gem to myself? or have i made a mistake? should i have

    VW BBS 17" SPLIT RIM ALLOYS 225/55/17, ET35 71/2Jx17H2 Will they fit my mk3 VR6 with (i think) a 40mm drop without mods? or will i need minor or major arch mods? TIA Chris
