  2. im gunning for 400 bhp+ as i want at least the same bhp per ton as the mk3 (278) and itd need 403 bhp to acheive it so thats the target i expect to use a spacer gasket to lower the compression a bit and bigger injectors to stop it melting the pistons i do want an intercooler of some description apart from that im not sure what id need

  5. nope but thats where centrifugal chargers excel theres no big increse in torque aka turbo and they tend to make more hp than lb ft due to the linear increase in boost it all makes them much kinder on the transmission than turbos especially big turbos

  10. ppl make too much of that yes the engine doesnt make much torque but putting shorter gear ratios in it increases the torque at the wheels which is where it matters
  11. not 100% but itsd either synta silver (10/40 semi synth) or synta gold (5/40 fully synth) i reckon itl be silver as vrs anr tthe tightest engines ever

  14. id say its taking less abuse tbh as your not forcing a shit load of extra air (compression) in your basically putting extremely efficiant air in ie higher oxygen levels = cleaner more efficiant and more powerfull bang when the spark plug ignites the fuel air mixture

  18. 1200? its a MK1mate acording to this http://www.mr2s.co.uk/Toyota_MR2_Mk1.htm there under 1000kg but it has the mk2 turbo engine in it. LOL @ PHM was secretly hoping you would post sorry i meant the mk2
  19. they aint that light they 1200 ish kg the vr is 1155 lol im guessing at the psi but they were pretty low i can only guess the reason theyr so damn quick is the tranny layout ie mid engien rwd it gives fantastic traction when setup right with nowhere near the tranny loss of 4wd but almost the same traction
  20. if the glanza runs low 14s average 1/4 hel kill you mate youl be looking at very low 15s very high 14s with them mods the best i ever got n/a was 14.6 with cams exhaust ind kit and remap making about 220 bhp
