    i prefer the habdling of 17"s over 15"s but it think thats down to diffrent tyres the toyos were much better than the yokos on the 15" i dropped from 17 to 15" and theres a DEFFINATE increase in accelration i went from 205/40/17 to 195/50/15 theres a calculator website somewhere

    is it the pipe that runs underneath the filter itself and does it have a kind of t peice if yes theyr quite common i think mine had a massive hole in it but mustve been sealed against the body somehow it only showed itself when i fitted the schrick i fixed with a frosties box and insulation tape i shit u not!!

    i have fk suspension iv not really driven any other but i like mine its only crashy at 2 mph on pot hole ridden alleys and is only a teeny tiny bit soft when u give it srious welly on a country lane all in all id give 9/10 for a pretty much perfect compromise ps i dont like to hard suspension think of all the stress/vibration your sending straight through the car/chassis makes me wince

    maf ouch!! sounds like a major service + a fair portion of the things that go but all at once hehe ps if your getting springs how about uprating suspension that way u want need a sailors hat when u drive it lol as for the type r nice cars imo but id never swap the vr what did vagcom show?

    im doin my wing mirror cover iv sanded the old laquer off (2nd silver mirror off ebay) then primed it 2 coats waited 10-15 mins till it felt dry then gave it 3-4 coats of colour waitin tilll the last was tacky then iv laquered it twice the colour match looks spot on BUT its rough as a bears arse have i done the colour too thick should i sand it totally smooth before priming im stumped any help would be great

    dont need to take the engine apart to get the mani off the gaskets wil prob be fine especially the metal 1 that goes to lower mani its dead easy (it must be i did it lol)
