I've ended up doing mine gold (was going to go for yellow) don't look half bad (even though i didn't take off the calipers to do them) will see how i get on with them - may go black at a later date?

I've got a rather sooty exhaust - does this mean i'm running too rich? &| Or is this normal? Doesn't seem to smoke too excesively(sp?) Advice gratefully recieved

Has anyone fitted a BB bonnet to a golf that has the twin headlight conversion? The only ones i've seen have normal or mk4 conversion lights. Any pictures if there are anyout there? :?

Mine came with a bracket already - just bolted it to the fuel tank holder bolt. Its going on as we speak (hopefully) - will know at 3pm if its ok!

Yes still has rubber bit on! I mite try drilling and putting a bolt through it to add extra strength - or is it the pipe piece that isn't strong enough? Iykwim!

Out of interrest which part of the bracket wasn't strong enough? The part that joins the exhaust or the actual bracket that bolts to the body?

What do you use to paint calipers? I've been told hammerite is ok to use? Don't want to have to buy the expensive caliper paint if i don't have too! What's the best way of doing it? &|

I've got a metalic black vr and want to paint the calipers - what colour would look the best?

Got any pictures of it? I'm going to try use one of those side cutting drill bits - hopefully it won't look too bad once i've finsihed?

Thats the one i got! - I was outbid then the bloke didn't want it so sold it to me for £100 - i'll get the bracket sorted out then! Its a small world!

I've bolts bracket to fual tank holder bolt - not took old silencer off yet so no idea how its going to go - luckily my G/f bro works at a tyre place so should be able to get any problems sorted! I'll let you know how it goes! Sorry got no dig cam at the moment!

I will be fitting a dual exit exhaust soon (see engine/exhaust forum!) and i need to modify the bottom piece of the bumper to allow the second exhaust pipe to fit properly. What is the best way of cutting/melting the bumper so make it fit? I want it to look as good as possible and would prefer not to go pay a bodyshop to do it (unless it wouldn't cost much!!!)
