    I own an early u.k. spec mk3 vr6,obd 1,using distributor and seperate ignition coil,i have ask alot of performance shop in u.k. and u.s. to supply me a preprograme performance chip but until today i can't get one,some advise me to send my vr6 for RR to get the chip programe the problem with me is i am living in MALAYSIA with my vr6,hope somebody out there can help me to get a performance chip,i think should be able to get from u.k.Thank You.

    Hi kevhaywire!What value resistor i should use which wire i should send the signal in(wire color)please comfirm if wrong wire maybe will screw up the ecu.Thank You.

    Hi kevhaywire !I refer to the workshop manual it say if the mixture is rich the lambda sensor will send 0.3volt to the ecu if the mixture is lean it will send 1.0volt to the ecu so 0.45volt is it o.k. anyway the max c.o. is 1.5 control by the ecu.So which wire to send the fix supply to the ecu?

    For my vr6 it take off lighter overall this better in performance.Hope samebody can assist me how to run my vr6 without lambda sensor.

    My mk3 vr6 CAT remove improve torque and i try to remove the lambda sensor but the engine run like crazy,is it anyway for the ecu to work find without signal from the lambda sensor(ignore the lambda signal)because the purpose for lmabda sensor is to protect the CAT anyway my vr6 without CAT so i don't need the lambda sensor futhermore my country here without MOT test,hope somebody out there can assist me.Thank You.

    I just want to try to adjust my vr6 schrick manifold switching point from factory setting 4000rpm to 3000rpm is it going to improve the torque?All comment are welcome.Thank You.

    My vr6 schrick vsr manifold recently not working,so i check the wiring everything is o.k. so i took out the control box to do some adjustment(factory set work at 4000rpm)i reduce it to 3800rpm,3500rpm,3300rpm all not working until i set it at 3000rpm than the vacuum servo start working,so now my schrick vsr working at 3000rpm is to early for the opening i am wondering is it posible to repair the control box or get a replacement but i don't know where to order one hope someone got the idea.Thank You.

    Yes mine is the early vr6,GIAC don't have the programe for my chip.In MALAYSIA only have a few vr6 so is imposible to re-map my vr6 ecu,so anyway i hope you can help me to get a performance chip for my vr6,my ecu info-VW-021-906-258CB(BOSCH-0-261-200-491)CHIP NO-1-267-357-425.Hope this info will help.Thank You.

    I contacted GIAC they don't have the particular chip for my ecu,i think U.K. should have because those early vr6 in the U.K. is the same as mine.Hope somebody can help me to get a chip.Thank You.

    Hi!I would like to know is it posible to get the vsr control unit(the grey box),because mine only working at 3000rpm if i adjust it to factory setting 4000rpm it won't work.

    I own a U.K. spec early mk3 vr6(1993 obd-1 with seperate ignition coil)and i plan to put in a preprograme performance chip into my vr6 ecu,until today i can't get one already contacted AMD reply back they don't supply preprograme chip,autotech,neuspeed,tt,giac all don't have so i hope somebody in this forum can assist me and my ecu detail is:- 1)ECU NO-VW-021-906-258CB.(BOSCH-0-261-200-491). 2)ORIGINAL VW CHIP NO-1-267-357-425. The reason i can't send my vr6 for the custom programe chip is because i am living in MALAYSIA. T
