just fitted a bmc filter, didnt touch any electrics but now my elecy window goes up an inch or so then stops when u hold down the switch, u then hav to let go of the switch and hold it down again, each time it moves about a inch(up and down).passenger side if fine, sum advice would be nice, cheers

i hav fitted 17 by 7.5 inch wheels to my vr but the wheels dont come out level to the arches, is it worth putting spacers on the wheels or is that a nono.

had that done at amd they found no faults. local tuning man said it was the induction kit + vsr thats upsetting the air mass sensor, so i adjusted the TB stop so that it does not close fully, this has stopped the problem and put the idle up to about 800 rpm.

hi all my car often cuts out when revs drop to tickover, ive got a new idle control valve, a new TB.Any help would be nice as its pissing me right off. !ill

just been 2 amd had a chip done for vsr manifold.had 189 bhp 180 ft (4700 rpm) before, just thought id let u know. if u have the money its well worth it(cost £1600) [ Edited ]

hi all, my vr sometimes cuts out when revs drop down to tick over. or if it dont cut out the revs dip right down 4 a second, then pick up again.help would be nice. !amazed [ Edited ]

I have a '94 L-reg Mk3 VR6 which has plastic wheel arch trim fitted as standard. I've seen several VR's in the galleries on this site with NO plastic arch extensions. Is this standard on a later model or have these cars had the trim removed then had the arches rolled? or, are the pictures just decepitve in that that is what it would look like if I were just to remove my plastic trim?

Does anyone know what brand of eyebrow spoiler is fitted to phat28vr6's car? How easy are they to fit? How much do they cost? etc... etc...

thanks for the advice m8 hope it aint the head gasket, mind u i had 196 bhp on the rollers last week, would i not lose power? ps u sure that steam aint water evaporating off the outside of ur rad when its heating up.

got a k&n on my vr that takes its air from the engine bay. is it a good idea to run a cold air supply to the filter, if so wheres the best place to fit it(dont fancy it hitting the belts or pulleys).

i have a vsr andf it makes all the difference down low.before my vr was crap at low revs

I find my vr uses alot of water i have to top the bottle every 3 days(40-50 miles). is this about right or do i have a water problem. ps i dont have a leak.

mine runs at 90 most of the time only goes up to 96 when giving it sum.does it not depend on power of engine as well.

just fitted a shrick manifold but the engine is pinking 4000rpm, already got a superchip do i need to remap buy new chip or what help please .

ive got a golf 2.8 with k&n big bore induction kit, throttle body, chip, exaust, vsr manifold and ive only got 196bhp(hopefully about 205 with remap) and thats 150 at the wheels,to lose only 22bhp through transmission ie from 231 to 209 seems a bit suspect to me, lets see that power graph fibber boy
