hi peeps i need ur help again!

right today i went my mates and when i pulled up i could hear bubbling from my header tank. so i popped bonnet and water was bubbling out of the over flow on the tank.

i waited for it to cool and refilled tank. i thought a air block could of caused this? because recently the two water pipes on the oil cooler split? and i had to replace them.

later i went home and it done the same! :@

my mate said it could be 3 things.

1-relief valve thing in header tank?

2-head gasket?

3-header tank cap?

has anyone got any ideas? (i)

the car hasnt lost any power, and pulls like a train!

is there any way of checking if it is the head gasket without taking the head off?

also both fans are working, and the water temp is still running at normal levels?

thanks......

right two things matey

have u got a black coolant cap? if so buy a new one, they have superceeded to blue ones with better seals, the black ones leak pressure like hell,if my memory serves me correctly the part number is 1H0 121 321C and its just over a fiver new,so i would do that 1st,if still doing it then get a pressure test of the cooling system done thats how i found out what was up with mine
