Motown 0
Not sure what to do with the original manky BBS rims on my car.Should I get them refurbed and lower the car to fill in the arches? Or, would it be a better option to go for bigger 17" rims?
yeeha 0
I have the smae dilema mate. I think 17's on a VR look the absolute b0lloks, and would love a set - and considering it'd be about 150 for refurbishing plus new tyres (say another 160 ish) im over 300 quid - so why not just get a 17 wheel tyre package for a coupla hundred more? Answer: Im too sh!t scared that my acceleration will be totally out of the window. I mean the gearing in a VR is already fooked up, throwing a set of 17's on there aint gonna help matters much The debate goes on.........
binliner 0
go for 16s then?Motown whatever you do you'll want to lower it anyway
Guest Olly_K
16's aint big enough and 17's destroy the acceleration !i noticed that going from 15's to 17's, But 17's are the don, so 17's all the way
yeeha 0
I think I'll just get my 15's refurbed actually, or maybe even find some nicer 15's (those multispokes are just too hard to clean!!!). I could get a package on 15's for not far off the total coast of tyres/refurbing the std ones anyways - then use them for the winter
