Premium Membership?

I really want to become a Proper member of this club but membership has been down for a while now. :-(

I was told it should be up in a few weeks when I first joined but still nothing.

Any idea when it will be up again? Is it still being worked on? Is there another way I can become a Premium member?

Can't help but think I am missing out on lots of goddies ! And besides I don't want to be just a site poster I want to be an actual member :-)

hi Mark,

Antera is putting a few final touches to our database system so everything is automated when you join. Up till til now its been a manual process of entering data writing letters and envelopes. Which is all very time consuming - I know i did it for nealry a year! Pete Rich and Nick should have things up a running soon but there is no date i can unfortunalty give you.

thanks for everyones patience with this I know its been a problem since the memberships went off line in December but soon enough everything will be up and running and back to normal again

Just like to re-iterate what Claire said about being sorry that the memberships have been down for so long. This was partly due to my fault (not having enough time with moving house and all) but should hopefully be a lot easier to manage once the new changes are put into place.

I pretty much agree with Mark, i'm hoping to be a full member so I can have the benefits, and also so I can hopefully share my existing knowledge with other members.

I look forward to becoming a full member soon!

Thank you all for being so patient. The modifications to the membership database are almost complete and we should be able to start processing memberships again on Tuesday/Wednesday this week.

Peeps thanks for your patience with this I sure everyone appriciates that most of us who do stuff for the club do have full time jobs and familys etc which occupy alot of our time so although putting in the odd hour for the club seems little when you actually have to do it it is hard work I know as ex Memb Sec how hard it is.

Hopefully we'll be back into the full swing of things shortly
