speed_freak 0
I would go to the parts for sale section on here the vdubgirl gets all the parts very cheap it will be cheaper than you can probably go out and get them for But if you are saying they look fairly new it could be something else all together mine did look old when i changed them but they are very funny leads
bazz780 0
hey ciaran, i have this same problem, when you drive past parked cars it sounds awful!!im suspecting the exhaust leaking from the downpipe, as when my engine was replaced i think the div used the same bolts and gaskets
craggsy 91
Just coz they look new doesn't mean they are. Could be damaged inside the protection layers
J5KE F 0
coil pack or dizzy?I have had 2 coil pack plugs go on me... dont know if it's any help but!
Petesvw 0
I'd go for the leeds and plugs first mate!
badboyV6 4
As Pete said - get Magnecor leads (about 85 quid) and decent plugs first - both wise upgrades anyway :-) if that dont work check the coil pack....
Ciaran 4
ok il try the plugs and leads and if that don't work at least i have spares.car is a coilpack by the way and plugs can't be knackered as the car is ok once it warms up.
Russ_vr6 12
i would suggest poss coil pack mate,my mate has just bought a vr with same prob and he replaced the coil pack and fixed it,i suggest borrowing a coil pack off a vr that u know is ok and try it
MrBen 0
Mine had a phase of missing, and I found just taking off and firmly replacing the leads sorted it. If only everything could be fixed so easily!
