matth76 1
Sounds like my colour which is apparently called "mystic blue"... normally looks dark blue but has a tint of purple in certain light. When it's sunny it looks perfect..really deep blue!Sounds like a good buy you have there...excellent mileage!
jonvr6highline 0
Glad you found one Steve.Mileage is similar to mine at 64,000!Jon 8)
goonersteve 0
Cheers for the comments guys (Matt, Jon etc) Richie has checked and apparently the colour is Mystic Blue, as Matt suspected. So what dos everyone think on the colour, gd / bad?
DeathBoB 0
Blue is cool, at least in isnt another purple one, and people say green ones are unlucky.....and of coarse red ones go faster, as the million stone chips should prove.
goonersteve 0
lol!Yeah i do like the blue, but to be fair i would've bought almost any colour if it had this milage, condition etc. :-)
katconcarne 0
Mystic blue is a lovely colour, you're right though, in that condition any colour would be acceptable!! !lol
Earwig 89
Nice to find one with such low mileage. :-)Very nice find.Look forward to some nice pics.
goonersteve 0
I finally picked it up yesterday......oh my word, what a BEAST!! I drove it home from London so i got a decent drive out of it. Tried my best to drive conservatively and be careful, seeing as I aint really driven one before and succeded for the most part. Although there was some twat in a Polo, not sure if it was a GTI or just a souped-up standard one, (but either way it was irrelevant!!) and he was right up my arse on a single carriageway. Then once we reached the dual he floored it and I just left him creep S-L-O-W-L-Y past as I cruised, waiting to pounce......then BANG, i dropped it down to 4th and completely annihalated him hahahahahahahaaaa! !lol
goonersteve 0
And before you all think i'm some 'boy racer' type(!), I also had almost as much enjoyment simply cruising along, it's such a beautiful car to drive. I'm so chuffed! 8)
jonvr6highline 0
I'm glad your enjoying it.It was similar to me 4 years ago. I had never driven one until I bought it. Until driving it home conservatively and then later on seeing what its all about, boy it was quick!Jon 8)
bazz780 0
nice one steve, hope you are enjoying it and glad to hear you destroying the dis-respecting vw drivers lol
goonersteve 0
It was similar to me 4 years ago. I had never driven one until I bought it. Jon 8) Well if you're still driving it now then that's gotta be a good thing! I can def see myself keeping this for a long time (touch wood). Some subtle mods here and there, keep the milage low, keep up the regular servicing and i'm sure we'll live happily ever after! lol
