matth76 1
HiGot a gmax kit fitted today at The Phirm who did a great job! The gmax kit is supposed to lower the car 35mm... it seems much lower than that! Im very pleased with it! With the standard 15" wheels I can only two fingers in the gap between the front wheel arch and tyre...and only one at the rear! Before I could almost fit a whole hand in the gap.. Also got a bigger deep front spoiler fitted at the same time and I'd say at most there is only 12cms or less gap between the bottom of the splitter and the road (previously with the old thinner late vr6 splitter there was a gap of over 18cms). Looks low and mean now! It may lower slightly more still after it has had time to settle. It handles amazingly round corners and you wouldn't know it had been lowered as it's so comfortable... certainly no harder than standard. Well recommended! I may try and post pics at some time if there are any free sites to host pics. May also be going down to the gti festival at santa pod on 2nd April.Matt

matth76 1
Hi mate yeah was good to meet you yesterday. I should be going down to the gti festival. You car looked very nice too... I liked your morette/hella style lights. Been thinking about possibly getting some in the future. How does your car feel with the cams? Does it pull really strong above 3000revs? Your car looked perfect with the FK's!Jimbo, gmax springs and dampers...comes as a complete kit. Supposed to lower car 35mm but I think that is just a guideline. I reckon the drop must be more like 40-45mm at least. Really comfortable. The kit is around the £200 mark. Bloody good value.
Earwig 89
Car sounds nice m8 :-)Suprising how much difference a drop in height makes :-) Mine is only dropped by 40mm on eibach kit. I can't go much lower coz my front bumper hits nearly all speed ramps as it is :-(Hope to have a look at Santa Pod. :-)Oh and BTW: If you want some moreette twin Headlights I have a set if you are interested ? £100 and they are yours. Genuine Morrette to :-)
