Geastb 0
I purchased some 16" wheels (off vento vr6) I was under the impressions they would fit my car but when putting them on the car yesterday i found the caliper was hitting the wheel (only slightly) how can i get round this - spacers? I have only tried the fronts i'm hoping the rears will be ok (diff design on caliper.I don't really want to have to sell the wheels as i#ve just bought new tyres for them!!!The wheels are 6.5 x 16 don't have any other info

Geastb 0
No - don't think so standard brakes. There is a piece on the caliper that sticks out and that is the part that rubs.
Eat this 2
15s r standard on vrs so i dunno y they rub what tyres u got on?
Geastb 0
Its the actual wheel rubbing on the caliper - they are 16" not 15"
six appeal 53
Yeh i had this problem when I tried to fit some deep dish 16's on mine, dur to the offset and dish of the wheels! I was told you can either fit spacers or shave the caliper carefully with a grindette! Didn't fancy either options so stuck with my 15's and 17's.

VR6Steve 0
Had this problem on the front when the 17's went on the Mrs VR. Think its running about a 3mm spacer.
