alivr6 0 Posted May 7, 2004 Report Share Posted May 7, 2004 by putting high lift cams your top end speed will be affected, if you aint to worried about that then i myself would reccomend that you go with schrick as they are very compatible with the vr. all you need after that is a schrick manifold....if you dont already have one Link to post Share on other sites

mina 0 Posted May 7, 2004 Report Share Posted May 7, 2004 it's the age old problem - cams are always a compromise - factory ones are normally designed for a decent power/torque curve - as soon as you start replacing them with aftermarket ones, you will inevitably gain bhp at the expense of low/mid range torque.
