what is the size of the wheels on this vr

im thinking of placing 18inch on my vr, but what size are the wheels on this car?

does anybody know this guy, i want to know the size in inch'es and the j size.

i think 18inch and 8.5j front and 9j behind, am i right??

they are BBS LM`s so i guess they are 18x8.5 all 4 its a size they list to fit a mk4 golf or R32 (they cost about £500 each without tyres!), I recognise the number plate!! but i dont know who owns it.

no i am sure they are BBS LM`S, rial might do simmilar ones? i spoke to this guy last year at gti international (between rain storms!) he was saying how much work it had taken to get the rims to fit, especially the rears due to the clearance when the rear beam pushes the wheel forward as the suspension goes down under load, i think he had modded the sills to acommodate the wheels!!

i think they only list 18 8.5 j for a vw fitment now, they used to list a 8x 17 but i dont think you can get them anymore?

well it's a custom fit, so i can get the wheels from bbs germany, but i'm not sure wich to take the rial's or bbs, the rials are half the price (

go for the rials! they still are nice wheel and no one else i have seen have got a set! look really nice mate

sold the chrome wheels for a good price, gonna look tomorow if the arches can be modified to fit 18inch 8,5j rials

ive ordered other wheels 18 inch original audi winter wheels, pic's will folow, the size is better then the rials,

rial 18 8,5j et 30

audi 18 7,5j et 40

this means it will fitt easy'er on the car and whit some mod's on the airride it wil go lower !amazed

well the arches are ready, just waiting for the guy that can modify the car from 5x100 to 5x112 !mistrust , and the airride has to be modified, so it can be a few inches closer to mother earth !amazed

and the colour on the car is rainbow extreme

theyre definately bbs lm's in 8.5x18's

therials look mega mate and as you say they cost a fortune, the only thing with running 18's is the difference in accelleration from standing, its a lot slower

damn the wheels dont fit, to many problems to get them under the airride so have to sell the wheels ~

anyone intrested, they are for sale at 600 pounds, only the wheels, im keeping the tyres.

dont know what shipping to the uk will cost :?

they are original audi a8 winter wheels from the 2003 model (the new one)
