andy 0 Posted April 28, 2004 Report Share Posted April 28, 2004 I cleaned my idle stabiliser valve today and it has cured my recent lumpy tickover, smooth as silk now. Have a search for this within the forum, there's loads of info. Can't see how oil would affect idle. Link to post Share on other sites

andy 0 Posted April 28, 2004 Report Share Posted April 28, 2004 I had to destroy the original clips holding the pipes on. Just twisted them off with pliers, have replaced them with jubilee clips from Halfwits. Gave the valve a good blasting with spray Gunk and re oiled it with 3 in 1 oil. Really settled down a treat.
