vdubgirl 3
You sometimes need to get the aircon recharged or gased or something like that
Mangold 0
prob needs the gas (R134a) recharging thats all.
binliner 0
It must be a lot hotter in stoke than down here if you're using your aircon!!

six appeal 53
You should run your air-con at LEAST once a month for a good 1/2 hour just to give the compressor etc.... a little bit of loading to keep everything all in check.
Mangold 0
Yeah your right mr six, but in the winter month's who the hell does????
vr6 0
just had mine refilled and serviced today the difference is unbeliveable luckly did not have to pay so result
jonvr6highline 0
Yeah your right mr six' date=' but in the winter month's who the hell does????[/quote']You can use the air con with the heater turned up, rather than cold. I find it useful to demist the screen when cold. Demists really quick! The trick is to keep the gases flowing regularly like Sixappeal says, in order to keep the pipes/condenser from drying up! VR6Steve 0
If your climate is anything like my Polo GTi's system, you should run it pretty much constantly.Lack of use of any aircon system will lead to the system seals drying out and eventually leaking the gas out.
