Justicevr6 0
I got some oil from the motorist shop today and after rembering a post about oil I looked at the oil that I had been given, it readsCarlube 15w40 specification SLICF A3 B3 B4, I know it's not the best in oils but is it OK to use as it dose not say semi synthetic on the label. antera309 3
10w40 (semi synthetic) or 5w40 (fully synthetic) is the usual choice for VR engines.

FishWick 21
Carlube is junk! Give the VR oil it deserves, dealer quantum at worst or Silkolene Pro S 10W/50 at best.
BRG 0
came across this. http://63.240.161.99/motoroil/index.html tells you everything you need to know...and then a whole lot more. Good for when you've had a couple of beers at lunchtime and can't be ringed to do any real work!
