rsweeney 40
I'm planning to collect parts for the conversion and do it after the paintwork next summer. Would plan to remove all of the auto wiring and ecu As far as parts go : 02A gearbox Flywheel Clutch kit and fork Starting Motor Clutch master and slave cylinder + pipe work Clutch and Brake pedal - separate items? gear selector and cables throttle cable Not sure on : engine ecu wiring for starting motor driveshafts Any ideas on these would be great ! VR6Pete 1,455
You will need some interior plastics and associated interior bits (gear gator etc...). Also you may need a manual peddle box, unsure if you will be able to add to add a clutch peddle to existing peddle box. I know there was a member on here that has done this in the past and it wasn't a difficult conversion to do, maybe could do a search and take a look?
fla 0
Yes pedal box is needed ecu will be ok the auto piggybacks off the main ecu. You also need to wire in the reverse lights from the gearbox. Driveshafts and everything else is the same. Its a nice conversion to do - all the best with it. I'm on the corrado forum more often - do have a look at my thread there for the conversion.
