Scott_P 38 Posted February 22, 2015 Report Share Posted February 22, 2015 Hi, New to the site, sorry if this is in the wrong section.Or had a leak in my mk3 for months now and just can't seem to source it. Changed the front sindscreen as I thought it was that. The water is gathering in the front drivers footwell in the front left hand corner and nowhere else so can imagine its coming in from behind the pedals as they sound proofing behind there is soaked. Earwig 89 Posted February 24, 2015 Report Share Posted February 24, 2015 Mine leaks also when it rains. Everything is clear, screen has been replaced when it was resprayed. Still leaks. I am at a total loss as to where it could be coming from to ! Luckily mine is garaged all the time so not a major issue, but I'll be keeping an eye on this thread Link to post Share on other sites

Earwig 89 Posted February 24, 2015 Report Share Posted February 24, 2015 Mine used to trickle down the footwell in the drivers side. You could see a faint trickle by the latch to pop the bonnet. With that in mind I dumped a load of silicone around the area where the cable goes into the engin bay in the scuttle panel. Still leaked... Scott_P 1 Link to post Share on other sites
