We'll see what your opinions are to sort the ratios out a little

Well I find 1st toooo short

2nd not that cracking

3-4 ok

5th short

I was going to get th 0.68 fifth anyways but

A diesel box internals?

Or just a longer final drive?

Eventually will get a wavetrak

I'd like 5th so that so I'm doing 60mph at 2k rpm

I had same problem (wait for it)

6 speed Fiat seicento turbo, Rev limit to 8500rpm helped. really short gearing turbo torque and ~800kg launching in 3rd, my cheap learning experience

Lol

Seriously with the 24v motors there is enough torque to have longer first

surprised not found anyone els trying for the same

On damp roads I turn the inlet manifold off (open flaps) to have little less torque to set off quickly without spinning

Or other option is to go all out mk4 wiring with abs etc toget traction control

Options are as follows:

1) The simplest variant, adding 6th gear without changing 4th gear...

2) Extreme variant, adding 6th gear and changing 4th gear. Then, ratios 0.65, 0.59 can be used for 6th gear...

Whats the cost for this? do you need the existing gearbox?
