Bahnstormer 0 Posted May 23, 2005 Report Share Posted May 23, 2005 I seem to be losing coolant, but cannot see a leak anywhere - Could it be the blue cap on the expansion tank ?Am also losing oil, v slowly though, but it isn't a head gasket problem.Can anyone help ? As for the oil the book quotes 1lt for every 1000miles so if it's averaging about that much it should be OK.Make sure you get the coolant leak sorted out ASAP and keep an eye on temp needle in the mean time Link to post Share on other sites
stockers 1 Posted May 23, 2005 Report Share Posted May 23, 2005 yeah sanks is right,my thermostat housing went and there was only the tinyest drip coming from it but enough to drain the reservior dry in a day! the housing is at the bottom of the engine at the front,about 4" square,good luck. oh if it is it will cost about Link to post Share on other sites
