as you know i wrote off the rear quater of my vr would it be worth me buying it back off the insurance company as it has mint leather and a decent engine with full vag service history any clue what sort of price you would get for a engine they have not given me a price yet

if you have the space and room to store/break the car i would def get a price to buy it back! leather goes for at least 500 upwards and the engine/box the same! at least. plus all the other bits you can take off that folk always want!

If the price is right (haggle) then do it... I bought mine back for £1100, stripped it and sold it for a LOT more than that (plus kept all the best bits for my new car) I literally sold EVERYTHING from the car, all through ebay & forum classifieds

binliner was it worth the effort to strip it down did you make a big enough profit i want it back for a few reasons one the leather and also the private plate
