jamesw6810 80
Anyone have a blue peter version they use for this, wanting to add to my mulberry by doing a service tomorrow whilst im replacing the manifold, dont have a ht lead tool to hand though and i cant see me being able to get one for tomorrow so in true car mechanic creativity does anyone use anything else to remove? jamesw6810 80
was thinking proper bodge style and using a coathanger with a hook modified on to un pull the base without touching the wire.....
Reaperx 181
I used a pair of Long nose pliers but they curved at the end perfect shape to grab hold of the base.

Reaperx 181
Hose grip pliers couldn't think of the name. That's what I used. Something like this.

jamesw6810 80
although cant help thinking a modified coat hanger wire would work the same.... Actually thinking about it, my intake manifold is coming off anyway, so therefore doesnt it make it an easier access to remove the leads without pulling the wire, i.e you can actually get to the base of the lead, or does this not happen?
