Jimjon 28
Does remind me of coilpack, its usually worse under load, like hard acceleration or driving up a hill, Changed mine about 3 times now.Always been able to spot it by spraying some water near the coilpack and listen/watch for any sparks leaping out of it. MJ Vr6 79
Had same issue mate.. Turned out to be number 6 HT lead.On the flipside, if youve changed the HT's it can be C/P if problem persists.Try not use HT's from ECP as they can be short at times, stick to the OE HT's.HT leads are now obselete from TPS.But there is a company that sells original 'NEW' HT's on Ebay.MAF wont cause Misfire as such, you will feel the car being hesitant, slow.. Runs on safe mode.
Jakeyb 23
had this myself ... there was a coolant pipe that runs off the bottom of the coolant tank that runs right under number 6 lead i think it is .. a small small smallllll amount of water was sat on that hose and the lead was arking out onto it .. if u pop the bonnet with it running and listen near the coil pack can u hear an arking ? i would have a look tomorrow for the sake of 5 mins ... also try a bit of WD40 on the end of the leads on the coil pack end make sure its not a little bit of moisture.
