J5KE F 0
Does any one know if it is normal for the VSR to drop almost 40 lbft of torque between 3750 & 4750 rpm & between 4k & 4600 theres a 10 bhp drop ? with & without the nitrous. I have just had mine on the rollers, and there is a very obvious drop - however you dont really notice it when driving...[ 882_rolling_road.jpg ][ Edited ][ Edited ]

FishWick 21
Shouldn't be losing 40 pounds. Did you VAG-COM it on the rolling road? Looks suspiciously like the curve you get when the cam position sensor is dead, or hall sender if you've got a dizzy VR.
antera309 3
As Pete's graph shows, a flattening of the power curve or a slight drop is normal immediately after the flap closes at 4000rpm, but it shouldn't drop 10-15BHP like that. It looks like there are other problems that need looking into there.
