Does any one know if it is normal for the VSR to drop almost 40 lbft of torque between 3750 & 4750 rpm & between 4k & 4600 theres a 10 bhp drop ? with & without the nitrous.

I have just had mine on the rollers, and there is a very obvious drop - however you dont really notice it when driving...

As Pete's graph shows, a flattening of the power curve or a slight drop is normal immediately after the flap closes at 4000rpm, but it shouldn't drop 10-15BHP like that. It looks like there are other problems that need looking into there.

the guy wired it up after only to turn the abs light off. (thats a normal occurance...) the car is a 96 / P so it has the coil pack, it doesnt seem to be loosing power the only reason i know is because of the graph... interesting 1!

I think i need to book her in somewhere. any suggestions? (South)

Also does anyone know the car? original reg P642 LAB, well looked after car, already tastefully modified highline untill i mollested it!

I bought it from Cambridge, but originally came from Wales area?
