Hutch 14 Posted November 29, 2013 Report Share Posted November 29, 2013 Hi, I was tracing a speaker fault and undid the twist-on/off modular connector for the NSR door. There were broken speaker wires in it, so problem sorted, but now I can't get the connector back on. I'm a fairly careful patient person - honest guv! - but after 45 mins trying I'm about to get a big hammer. Any advice or reattaching the plug? The problem seems to be that the part in the frame moves when I try to twist the bezel to do the other side up. Wonder if some silicon spray might help loosen things? Help :/ please. In the end I had to remove vacuum tube, gently press connector home, pray, dance, invoke things, and it made contact. Not easy!
