Geastb 0
My problem started last night - i was in a bit of a hurry and when i tried to rev past about 4000rpm the car seemed like the rev limiter cut in and lost power, when lifting off throttle power came back!Seems to be underpowered at the moment too! I get a little bit of hesitation sometimes at low revs too.Any ideas anyone?

acf8181 0
yeah, i agree with badboy...sounds like it could be hall sender, but check fault codes before doing anything. (there are ways to test hall sender before renewing it as well)

SankysVR6 1
Was the car running when they did the checks, as I'm sure I've read that the car has to be running otherwise the speed sensor fault comes up.

Valver 0
A 'weak ' induction pipe? what does that mean - as it's plastic. Is it split or something?....I may still have my old one in the garage somewhere if you need one.

Geastb 0
A 'weak ' induction pipe? what does that mean - as it's plastic. Is it split or something?....I may still have my old one in the garage somewhere if you need one. Mine is an early type which is rubber - the rubber 'sucks in' when under hard load this causeses the engine to die! If you have a spare i'll take it off your hands!
