VRmonster 1
Ive just bought myself a polished upper intake mani as im too lazy to do my own, lol. problem is i think its from an OBD2, my old one is OBD1. will i need to fit an obd2 throttle body or will mine fit properly, i dont mind losing the ISV if thats the only difference as im going to be running a stand alone ecu.what are the differences between the 2 manifolds? mightyvr6 0
I think the bolt pattern for the obd 2 throttlebody is different so the obd1 won't bolt onto the obd 2 manifold. Think the obd2 throttle is fly-by-wire as opposed to the cable operated obd1 TB.[ Edited Tue Apr 12 2005, 11:08PM ]
VRmonster 1
hmm, bugger, i hope its not fly by wire, that would mean me changing my pedal box and everything wouldnt it.
binliner 0
yeah you cant just swap the TBs Im afraid... have a word with Deako, he usually has polished OBD1 manifolds and was on the lookout for an OBD2 I believe
