acf8181 0
a 'normal' boxster is only vr6 quick...but the 's' is a fair bit more. is fun trying to keep up with a porsche on a motorway tho....the owners tend to get really embarrassed! hehe[ Edited Sat Apr 02 2005, 05:53PM ]

jaysVR6 2
As I said in a post the other day, I don't rate boxster S's at all as I had a good canne arouind in one for a bit (plus my sisters boyf has one and he's an arse!!! )Just didn't like the drive and didn't think it was particularly fast for all the hype. Deffo do a VR though, maybe not Marks charged one though and certianly not Johns beast.
silverline 0
going off the point slightly, i raced a corrado vr6 and obviously he beat me but there wasnt much in it at all! he only just got past. my golf is standard, apart from a ram air filter, i always imagined a corrado would come flying past? i know the corrado is a 2.9 and has 190bhp, manufacturers figures, but i ve never been in or seen 1 go so i dont really know what they're like. Toby 0
I think one of the best things is to come up behind someone who thinks they're in a v quick car (i.e a Boxster) and them looking in the rear view with a strange expression on their face - i.e what the fu*k's that?! That happened to me on sunday behind a Boxster with the top down - I could see the guy's expression really clearly - it was classic (bearing in mind mine's a MK2 so to all intents and purposes just looks like a 15 year old Golf!) Bahnstormer 0
Even better is coming up behind a Cabrio sportscar a Rallye and coming off boost - they fairly jump out of their seats when the charger vents !!!!
