sadken 0 Posted February 25, 2012 Report Share Posted February 25, 2012 Hello all.I have recently noticed the front passenger footwell is wet when it rains.The previous owner had the windscreen replaced around 18 months ago and when I pour water down the passnger side windscreen liningm water pours into the car.Is there a quick fix I can do myself with sealant or do I need to take it back to the windscreen people for help.Any advice greatly appreciated. Vw_owner 1 Posted April 3, 2012 Report Share Posted April 3, 2012 you sure its comming from the windscreen? have a look in the scuttle tray, dont know if its the same but on my corrado where the blower inlet is , it could quite easily allow water in there if its all bungged up with leaves and shht , Link to post Share on other sites

Vw_owner 1 Posted April 18, 2012 Report Share Posted April 18, 2012 lol may or may not be related but its been raining heavely this past couple of days and got in my car this morning to find the drivers foot well flooded!!! i think iv found the cause! blocked sun roof drain!!! and my sun roof seal is perished badly aswell!, you can check the drain by opening the sunroof and looking into the sunroof area from outside in each front corner your see a hole , my drivers side was blocked with some sort of weed, they exit in the front door shut by the hinge, Link to post Share on other sites
