VeedubVR 0
So first problem is the larger driveshaft is stuck in the hub and wont budge.secondly, they threads on it are foobar'd so the outer CV needs replacing. Ive got spares so is it a case of just bashing the foobar'd CV off? any technique in doing this? Thanks

michael5556 247
I prefer Tony's method. Just use an angle grinder
filtee 0
I had the same prob on mine. Lump hammer and an old ratchet bar extender thingy did the job (eventually).

It took me about an hour to get my hub off the cv joint with a 4 stud hub extractor, a vice and numerous other garage bits!!
