craggsy 91
Right my sister has came to me saying her sisters Lupo is screaming at her. I took it out and it is grinding from what sounds like the brakes, its high pitched and not droning. When straight it sounds awful as metal on metal does. Turn one way and it carries on but turn other way and it goes. So im thinking bearing has gone, but ive never heard them make this kinda noise when gone, unless its lost all bearings and is just race on race.Or could it be a CV gone. but again I thought they knocked when shot or on the way. Also how easy are bearing to do on a Lupo if anyone knowsTa Craig
Daverse 175
best thing would be to just look mate, look for any visible signs on brakes e.t.c for bearings its the same as any other, whip hub off and use a press. hope this helps

J5KE F 0
I had this on the other mk 2 van a few weeks ago.. Turns out it was wheel bearing!
Antihero1981 8
lupo should be easy , just check if bearings are pressed into wheel disc as you might have to buy both.
craggsy 91
Sorted. Took wheel off and noticed that the shield behind disc was very close to disc. Probably had a stone or something stuck.Pushed shield back a bit and all done
filtee 0
Same thing happened with me the other week when i was farting about with the driveshaft issue. The sheild was touching the disc.
