Atlas 12v 0
I've had my VR for just over 2 years now and the novelty has started to dwindle. As I can't afford the current price for an Audi S4, or the current insurance price for an E36 M3 Evo I'm trying to re-excite the VR experience. What can I do that isn't going to bankrupt me, ie no s/c or schrick.I was thinking or an H&R Cup kit (finally) and some ARB's, Eibach or Nuespeed.Your advice is welcomed... binliner 0
I get bored with mine quite often as I use it to drop the boy at school etc... best solution is blat it round some country lanes... music off... windows down... granted its better of a summer evening than sub zero winter temps! stu h 0
agreed -try borrowing your dads 1.4 rover 25 for a day or two !ill x) :@ and a bloody good blast is a good reminder of how much fun you can have!! my mate has gone through this recently with his mk 8v -he couldn't afford what he really wants to buy next but was fed up with it so i suggested he spent a few quid getting rid of the niggles and splash out on something for the car -he went for suspension.he's chuffed with it again!!! badboyV6 4
Yeah right Ingham lol. I drove a mates renault 19 (Top spec 1.4 prima - ohhhh)from Bristol to Newcastle to look at (and buy) my VR6- it felt fooking amazing when i got in to drive it!!! Probably wasnt the best idea as the QE2 has better handling and more pace than that Renault lol

acf8181 0
yeah, i think the driving another car for a while trick is best.though, having said that....i have had two different reactions when getting back into my vr6 after using my mkII gti or lorna's polo 1.6 for a while...first time i went back i thought it was great. was fabulous, i even posted on here how much i enjoyed it.but, another time i did it i hated it...felt way too harsh and just plain uncomfy. but that is more the stupid susp kit than the car...it sucks, finally get the handling the way i want and ride goes to pot! i want both! goodboy1451 0
one free option to imporove the feel of power without spending loads on mods is to lighten the car. If you clear the car boot of unnecessary cargos, you will be surprised.
