VR6Pete 1,455
Sounds like the door pins could need replacing? i'm sure another guru will confirm I've got a slightly sagging door on my corrado also that I want to fix
gary.scales 0
I have taken mine to get the doors jacked up so they fit nice but they dont last long...... VW sell the hinges complete for about £70 which is what I have been advised to buy. You will probably have to replace the gold/brass bit where the door locks onto too. If I remember rightly it was £70 for the all of this for one door. Mine is a 2 door, I am guessing yours is too
bungy 2
If you are lucky then it will just be the pins and at worst the hinges aswell.
paceo 22
If you are lucky then it will just be the pins and at worst the hinges aswell.i can move the door up and down and i get a click click click noise.
bungy 2
Put a jack under the door with a rag to soften the seat. Take a pin out and check for wear. Might be worth having a new pin ready to put in to save doubling up on effort compared to the cost.
